Standby mode: intelligent resource management
When a power outage occurs that is not caused by a real emergency — such as during scheduled maintenance — emergency luminaires would normally switch on automatically, unnecessarily discharging their batteries.

With DualCom, simply pressing the dedicated button sends a dual command to the luminaires:
- Enter standby mode: luminaires remain off, preventing energy waste and unnecessary battery discharge.
- Automatic return to charging state: once power is restored, the luminaires automatically resume charging, ready to operate when required.
This dual command not only optimises system management, but also eliminates the risk of human error — such as forgetting to manually restore normal operation.

Test activation command: an exclusive feature
DualCom — unlike other products on the market — features an exclusive test activation command (available for Power Test models). This allows automatic luminaire tests to be triggered directly from the remote control, either instantly or by synchronising the timer of the luminaires’ automatic test cycles.
Test activation enables the condition of luminaires and batteries to be checked without manual intervention on each individual unit. This translates into significant time savings for maintenance personnel, especially in complex installations with a large number of devices.
